Tuesday Night Worlds, July 22

The fast ride in town was eventful again this week. A smaller crowd than what was seen just before Master's Natz came into town, but none the less a great ride. Warm up through the park was as normal, and the pace quickened as we left St. Matthews and headed through across 42. A new route was taken to avoid the congestion out of Seneca park with another ride that leaved St. Matthews and heads the other direction.
The decent down Blankenbaker was again a quick one, and the pace notched up down river road. A small group gapped as we passed by tombstone, but the gap was closed and the guy in red, Nate, took the sprint to the ballpark.
A break away went free up mockingbird valley road with 2 riders the cleared in part by help from a large buss and a red light on the corner of 42 and Zorn. This gave the Barbasol and Bolla team riders in the break around a 1 minute gap that held through the lights on Spring and to the finish. The main pack was led off spring onto lexington road and then a great acceleration by the guy in red again, Nate, spoiled the field sprint at the end.
No injuries, and only one racing/honking car near Zorn on the way back was seen.

THANKS AGAIN, to all riders who came out to ride, and I hope to see everyone next week.
