Lane Armstrong is back, and 2008 tour bound. According to Lance the 2008 tour was "a slow pace." One better suited for the greatness of the 7 time Tour De France winner at an age of 37. The bigger question to us all is who will Lance race with, or for? In an article on www.velonews.com Condator is not ready to play second fiddle the greatest cyclist of this time saying, "We could be good teammates, but if I go to the Tour next year, it’s to win,” Contador said.
In a year where cycling has taken a downturn on press, and a tour where the yellow jersey winner was not allowed to race, what saga will Armstrong create? Can the great one even entertain the courage to extend his victory count to 8? Will the team sponsored by Astana and Trek allow Armstrong to race with anyone else? And how will Armstong feel racing without his right hand man George Hincapie?
For now all questions lay in wait, but the return of armstrong is nothing but good news.
Welcome back Lance, we've missed you.
